TREVOR CURL ANNOUNCED AS THE NEW VOICE OF THE 2023 AUBURN DOUBLEDAYS
The Auburn Doubledays are pleased to announce that Trevor Curl will join the Doubledays organization as the voice of the ball club for the 2023 summer. Curl was a former college baseball player at Yuba College in California and Eastern Oregon University. Curl is from Seattle, Washington, and grew up as a Mariners fan. Playing catch in the front yard with his Dad and listening to Rick Rizz and Dave Niehaus on the radio inspired him to pursue a career in broadcasting. Last year, Curl broadcasted for EOU’s Mountie Sports Network, covering fall and winter sports. During the 2022 summer, he was in North Carolina, broadcasting for the Old North State League’s Swepsonville Sweepers. “I am very excited to get to call Auburn my home for the summer,” Curl stated, “What sparked my interest in the Doubledays is the community of Auburn. The fans care so much about the ballclub and the history of baseball that is lived and breathed every day. I can’t wait to get out there to add another chapter to the Doubledays story.” Curl will call all home and road games for the 2023 summer, and live streams will start approximately 30 minutes before the first pitch.
The Doubledays kick off their season on June 3rd with a huge post-game firework show presented by Tompkins Community Bank. If you don’t want to miss a minute of the action, you can purchase season tickets starting at just $99.00.
