The Doubledays announce the signing of utility man Robert Mason out of Clarkson University. Mason, a Fayetteville, NY native, is going into his first-year summer with the Golden Nights hitting .343 with five extra bases hits and has driven in 9.
With the summer months just around the corner, Mason is ready to join his Doubledays teammates at Falcon Park under the lights.
“I’m most excited to play in one of the best leagues in the country,” Mason said. “It’s a really good opportunity to see what I can do against top-tier pitching. I’m also really looking forward to meeting the guys who I’ll be playing with all summer.”
